A Classic Outsider!
[edit]It appears that when nominated for vice president, Knox had never been elected or appointed to a civilian government office, nor had he been a general or admiral. I'm not sure, but that might be a unique case among candidates on a major-party ticket. If true, I think it's worth mentioning. Dynzmoar (talk) 23:31, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
