Source material at PSU archives

Pittsburg State University has access to the thesis of (former Congressman) Joe Skubitz and (former Superintendent of Schools, Frank Layden) on the early history of Crawford County and coal mining in this area. Also, E._Haldeman-Julius and his printing presses have kept the Secret Service busy in Girard and Crawford County from Julius' time to present-day.
