Uncited content
[edit]There was a lot of uncited content and a five-year-old {{more references}} tag. I removed the tag and the content in this edit.–CaroleHenson (talk) 22:08, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- I added content from Appletons' (with inline citations) and found that a lot of the uncited content came from the article, but it was sometimes duplicated in the article. The duplicated parts are now integrated. What's still not in the article now, based on this diff, is:
The name Antes is a Greek paraphrase of the German Blume, adopted as a disguise during the Romanist persecutions of 1620.
— I didn't add that because it's better suited to an article about the surname. Seemed out of place in the Biography section.It is more likely that the last name is a shortened form of the name "Antonius.
