Introductory sentence
[edit]- An IP Multimedia Services Identity Module (ISIM) is an application running on a UICC smart card in a 3G mobile telephone in the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS).
Should one interpret this sentence like this?
- An ISIM application is part of some UICC card. This UICC card is placed in a 3G mobile phone. And with the services offered by the ISIM application, this 3G mobile phone interacts with and is part of the IP Multimedia Subsystem.
