Is a separate Jakhar (surname) page needed?
[edit]It looks like a few days ago, the Jakhar (surname) page was merged into this title. Do we need to split it back out into a separate title? If so, which is the primary topic.
@TheSlumPanda: I definitely need your input here, since you did the merge, as far as I can tell from the history. —C.Fred (talk) 14:02, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- No content was merged from there, that article was a leftover redirect after a page move that removed unnecessary parenthesis. Infact the IP that tried to turn that redirect into an article through cut and paste move belongs to LTA @Truthfindervert: [1] who is notorious for page move warring in order to add unnecessary parenthesis to surname articles or disambiguation pages. I have restored the revision before any of the caste POV pushing started. - Ratnahastin (talk) 14:13, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Ratnahastin Thank you for the insight. Articles about castes can cause a lot of problems along those lines, and I wondered if there might be some of that going on here. —C.Fred (talk) 16:46, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Jakhar is clan of Jats.
- So create a different page with titele Jakhar (clan). In which basic information and Historical facts should be given. Jakharr (talk) 03:23, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
@Jakharr: I'd like to here an explanation from you for why you deleted two people from the list of notable people with the surname in this edit. —C.Fred (talk) 20:21, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
