[edit]I really wonder if the information about Eisenreich's Hall of Fame status is necessary. He was a good ballplayer, but nowhere near even the minimum standards for a Hall of Famer. Anyone who voted for him should have his or her voting prvilieges removed, if you ask me. I'd rather see more about his career, including the fact that his teammates voted him the Royals' MVP in 1989 over stars Bret Saberhagen, Bo Jackson and George Brett, than a paragraph stating he can be eligible for the HOF again in 20 years. user:Jsc1973
I agree with Jsc1973, and so I removed it. That discussion served absolutely no purpose. Every 10 year player gets placed on the ballot once, whether he was a superstar or career benchwarmer. user:wiki279
