There are no fewer than Thirteen cities entered on the list for Spain. The (other) hottest country, Greece, has just Six. Italy has even fewer. It seems the note "Selected" cities is the primary determinant of where Spanish cities rank, rather than data. Spain has more cities than Greece or Cyprus, due to its larger size, but some of those listed I've never heard of. In Cyprus, neither Paphos, Larnaca nor Famagusta are listed. Well, if they insist. But the data could be skewed another way by listing Greek cities, like Patra, Halkida, Agrinio, Kalamata, Hania and 1-2 other Cretan capitals, etc. I didn't remember seeing even Palermo, or other southern Italian cities on there either. Consider that a country the size of Germany has 3-4 cities on the list, to Spain's 13. The UK is included, but with almost as few as Germany. Can we sort out this nonsense?
Clearly this will happen whenever an obscure, social-constructivist word like 'europe' is used as the context, but even then, this is too biased. Thanks. 37.96.40.156 (talk) 23:58, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
