Pointless references to Ugg's and reebok? --Topspinslams (talk) 03:22, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Shawty and booty that were incessantly present and sarcastically placed within quotation marks were removed.

Low

[edit]

I thought this song was called "Low" not "Get Low", can someone check up on this.TeePee-20.7 06:47, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's what I thought too. Worldthoughts 23:57, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sarcasm?

[edit]

I noticed that the description of the music video is very sarcastic and cynical. Could someone fix it? 76.31.24.194 (talk) 00:45, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

Has this song been released in the UK yet? If not when is it due to be? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.92.244.21 (talk) 12:36, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Low (Flo Rida EP)

[edit]

The Low (Flo Rida EP) is just an online single in which you can get some additional tracks, not unlike any physical CD single one might buy. Can we just somehow include this info in this article, and merge the EP article here? Wolfer68 (talk) 02:13, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

5 times platinum = five million downloads?!?!

[edit]

The RIAA tracks physical AND digital downloads, and, to my knowledge, low has topped the 4 million downloads mark, however if you want to assert that it has passed the FIVE million downloads mark, you should add a reference ASAP, otherwise it must be deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.10.0.77 (talk) 16:09, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What's it about?

[edit]

The entire article is about the music industry context and broadcast/performance history of the single, not the track itself, and is basically wholly uninteresting to anyone not deeply concerned about music industry statistics.

Personally I would find it illuminating - no, make that encyclopedic even - if there were a concise synopsis of what the song is actually about?

For example, having listened twice now, I'm quite sure I don't personally have the foggiest notion. 121.44.183.219 (talk) 08:48, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

good question. Like all rap, it is about neural stimulation of the lower brain functions and genital ganglia —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.234.94.195 (talk) 07:29, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New Section?

[edit]

Hello. I want to include a new section about the meme usage of this song in the format of both "Apple bottom jeans, boots with the jeans", as well as "Jessica sleeps with her chemistry teacher", but I don't know how I would source it, since they are memes, not historical events. "Twerking" reference

[edit]

"Thematically, the song describes a sexually desirable girl twerking in a club" seems anachronistic to this song. Twerking wasn't around when the song was released, and the wikipedia page for twerking wasn't created until 2012 72.110.127.119 (talk) 10:20, 19 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
