Contested deletion

This article should not be speedy deleted because it does not duplicate an existing English Wikipedia topic. There is no article about this organization. --Fotaun (talk) 14:36, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I will say that that is a gross abuse of speedy delete and that criteria, as Mauna Kea Hui is not even mentioned in the "duplicate" article. Fotaun (talk) 14:41, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Name

It seems the correct name for this organization as listed in the state Supreme Court documents is Mauna Kea Anaina Hou.--Mark Miller (talk) 01:01, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that Mauna Kea Hui and Mauna Kea Anaina Hou are actually separate entities. Mauna Kea Hui stems from MKAH. The Hawaiian language definitions might be od some use here as well when trying to translate the terms but the book source should stand for now on MKAH.--Mark Miller (talk) 18:56, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stub article and start over

I am editing this article back to the bare minimum of facts referenced with reliable sources that can support claims. The original article was a major BLP violation. The article needs research on the subject and a rewrite for neutrality, encyclopedic tone, clarity and accuracies.--Mark Miller (talk) 21:53, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

For the most part, I have almost completed a near rewrite of the article and have checked sources to verify claims etc., added sources and further detail, formatted citations and deleted a number of BLP issues.
