Merge to Fyfield Down?

[edit]

I suggest merging this page, perhaps as a subsection, to Fyfield Down. The claim that this site consists of "scattered standing stones and a central altar stone" seems rather dubious, because every source I can find refers to it as a natural field of sarsen stones. This includes Julian Cope's own website where is referred to as a "Natural Rock Feature" - [1]. Pasicles (talk) 22:34, 15 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I've redirected this page to Fyfield Down. This scattering of sarsen stones is referred to as the Grey Wethers is most sources. In fact the only source I can find for the name "Mother's Jam" are books and web pages by Julian Cope. I can find no evidence either for "scattered standing stones and a central altar stone".
