Bias
[edit]I'm not really well versed in the issues between NUHW and SEIU, but it seems like some bias has found its way into this article. I think this might be a result of the fact that most of the sources used to write it are news posts from SEIU's website. Some more neutral research and writing might be in order. "...most of the sources used to write it are news posts from SEIU'S website." I believe the sources used to write it are news posts from NUHW's website.
I understand that this Wiki article is in the context of a "Stub." The word stub means something that is very short. On Wikipedia, a stub is a short article. When writers begin a new article, they use the word stub to mean that it is still very short and that people can add a lot more useful information. For example: 'In 1910 New Orleans Jazz Began.' As opposed to : The start of Jazz music was first played in New Orleans in 1910.'
This article seems to consist of and make reference to opinion pieces. Blogs and biased writers? It would be great to see some factual information here. Loyalistadg (talk) 00:05, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
I work at Kaiser Permanente in Hollywood and the version of the article as it now appears is pretty much well factual and unbiased. I'm actually surprised that SEIU has not vandalised it. Garagehero (talk) 07:45, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
I wikified the references, and then realized that the sources were not reliable. I fixed a few things, then added external links to main stream news media. This article needs more work. Comfr (talk) 03:00, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
Importance
[edit]Given the NLRB's recent decision to void SEIU's election win over NUHW, this article deserves more attention. NUHW is likely to be one of the central issues of the labor movement in the United States for years to come.208.118.163.99 (talk) 17:48, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
