Removing Conflict of Interest Banner
[edit]This article was first created with a conflict of interest. However, the majority of the original article is now replaced. The remnants appear to be neutral. The Development section certainly needs refinement, as the second line does poorly cite the original "COI" authors. But to me, the tone and content no longer suggests monetary or other gain by Now-Casting, Inc, but instead reflects a burgeoning subject in macroeconometrics. The term is no longer exclusive to this company, and the copyright claim failed. While many of this company's executives are mentioned and cited in the article, it is done so in a neutral tone and cites academic papers rather than company-specific material.
I would like to remove this banner in the coming weeks unless there exists opposition. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Michaelboerman420 (talk • contribs) 16:48, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
- As an uninvolved editor (and non-economist), the article in its current form looks WP:NPOV to me. Narky Blert (talk) 16:47, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Given 3rd party Wikipedian approval above, and lack of further comment, and my most recent purge removing the last reference to the COI party Now-Casting, Inc, I am moving ahead with removing the banner. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Michaelboerman420 (talk • contribs) 21:10, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
