Phelan means “Wolf Hunter” not “Wolf”

Can anyone confirm? I have found multiple times throughout my life that the Irish Surname Phelan actually held the meaning wolf hunter - not wolf. I think this article has made a significant mistake, in that regard… 71.92.7.215 (talk) 03:05, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
