The article needs reassessment in order to enable editors to understand what more to do. - Chandan Guha (talk) 12:38, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
- I have removed this article from the re-assessment category as the assessment from May 2017 appears to be accurate. At a glance the 'Climate' section has OR in it; terms like 'very hot' and 'cool' aren't expressed in the cited source and are personal opinion. There are minor grammatical problems throughout the prose and the long paragraphs could do with splitting as there are clear subject changes. Well done so far. - Revised. I hope it meets the concern expressed. - Chandan Guha (talk) 01:04, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
- EDIT: Regarding the demographics section. Did the 2011 census publish explicit calculations about 'Purba Bardhaman district' in lieu of the 2017 bifurcation? Or are these figures a non-cited calculation? This of course won't matter after 2021 but i'm intrigued. Cesdeva (talk) 19:35, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
- The 2011 census data is available on CD Block basis, The district was bifurcated on the basis of CD Blocks. The data for Bardhaman district had to be recast for Purba Bardhaman district and Paschim Bardhaman district. The detailed data for the 2021 census would only be available around 2023/2024. Till then this seems to be only way out. - Chandan Guha (talk) 01:04, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
