Linked In
[edit]Ed, Linked in is self published which, given the nature of the information (education and employment history), is OK for BLP. The education in particular is verifiable through the universities if challenged, but probably not worth the effort to get records & upload. See Wikipedia:BLP#Using the subject as a self-published source. Have I missed something?--Nowa (talk) 21:41, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- I am not sure this policy applies to LinkedIn. Anybody can create a profile on LinkedIn and pretend to be somebody else. This type of source is just too dodgy for Wikipedia, IMHO. I think there is reasonable doubt as to who wrote the profile. --Edcolins (talk) 21:10, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
