–Citation 51, The link to The Smoking Gun, says "Rock Ross" as apposed to "Rick."

–In the Grammy awards section, it states that Rick Ross still has only 2 grammy nominations, even though the table displays 4. And since I've mentioned the Grammy section, does it really require a sentence about the Grammys themselves, or is that not the point of a hyperlink?

Teflon Don stage name

Is there any evidence Ross has used this as an actual stage name? The one time it's mentioned in the article, it's referring to a different rapper, and a google search isn't pulling up anything for me. Skarmory (talk • contribs) 02:46, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The other references in the article are to the "name" of his 2010 album (not a stage name) and the lawsuit, such as this one.[1] There's a source for this one, though, at the start of his career: Ross, who was then recording under the name Teflon Da Don, appeared on the 2000 album Def Squad Presents: Erick Onasis[2] BBQboffin (talk) 03:31, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

At WP:AFC/R (where I first heard about this), 64.229 has provided [3] and [4], which do support the stage name being in actual use. The former is a memoir written by himself, and this should be an acceptable use of a primary source. One of these should probably be cited in the infobox where the stage name is mentioned. I'm not seeing "Teflon" anything from that link to the memoir (can you quote text, and from what page?), and in the exclaim.ca source, his use of "the name" is again in reference to the 2010 album. BBQboffin (talk) 05:02, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Can't seem to see page number in GBooks, but it's in the later part of chapter 6, and searching "Teflon Don" using the Search Inside button pulls up 15 results. Ah, I see the text now that I search for it. Perhaps we could add in the early career section that "according to his 2019 memoir, Ross recalls using the name 'Teflon Don'"? Under occupation section, should include Restauranter. He is the owner of more than 25 Wing Stop Resturants. Each location bringing in between $200,000 and $350,000 each per year. This source says he owns 30 Wing Stop restaurants[5] but does that make someone a restauranteur? It's a franchised fast food chain. Currently there is mention of the ownership in the Business Ventures section and it could be updated with the source material, but we have to be careful with the labor code violations in a BLP.
