BenBest has been a major contributer on this page, which I think is certainly valuable, since he is intimately familiar with Robert Ettinger. However, the article does not really present a neutral point of view. It uses many superlatives to elevate Mr. Ettinger's status. I don't necessarily take issue with much of the factual content, but I think the tone needs to be revised and a more neutral presentation given. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.64.229.94 (talk) 05:44, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The second half of this section ("Organizational Activities") I think should be deleted. It is about the cryonics movement, and not Robert Ettinger's role in that movement. It doesn't seem relevant to this article. In other words, what was Ettinger's role in the "slow growth" of cryonics? How did he feel about it, and what did he do to overcome it (or not)? I would suggest that some of his quotes given in the subsequent section answer some of these questions and should be incorporated in this section.
I'm working on an infobox for this article. It would be nice to have a photo of Robert Ettinger in there. Can someone contribute one that is not copy-protected? Thanks!

I discussed this matter with Robert Ettinger, and he told me that I could use any of the digitized photos that I have taken from his personal collection. I selected File:Robert_Ettinger_Soldier_WWII.jpg, which you may use. --Ben Best (talk) 01:45, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
