While I don't think "former" should be included in the opening sentence of his Wikipedia page (unless he's found guilt and sentenced to prison), I do think that the "Years active" part of his infobox should be 1990-2024 instead of 1990-present which is what is currently being used. I also think there is precedent for this, as the "Years active" section on the infobox for R. Kelly ends in 2019, when he was dropped from his record label and arrested. Oppose. The man has used so many different names, and variants and combinations of said names, that we could debate this endlessly. His proper name "Sean Combs" follows the default style at WP:NCP and this name appears frequently in reliable sources over a long period of time. --MYCETEAE 🍄🟫—talk04:11, 1 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose per Myceteae he has gone by a various number of names and we can have an endless number of discussions on this topic; i think it's best left Sean Combs. 750h+04:38, 1 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Many other people have been known by many names, and Combs has been known as Diddy for nearly two decades at this point. Snoop Dogg has also gone by Snoop Doggy Dogg and Snoop Lion while he was famous, and his page isn't called Calvin Broadus. In addition, the last move nomination was for the name P. Diddy, not Diddy. 2600:4041:57E9:8E00:C842:EFBB:E561:E1C1 (talk) 13:06, 1 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose because of multiple names and stylizations. The birth name is still commonly used along with various nicknames, for instance by BBC recently. In that case, the birth name should stay. Binksternet (talk) 17:21, 1 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This article repeats "Combs was raised Catholic" twice and also mentions how he was an altar boy twice. I feel like this is redundant and unnecessary and one of those instances can be removed. CerealContainer (talk) 01:59, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree. It is relevant in both sections as it is part of his upbringing and current religious views. Can this be changed back? Mabelist (talk) 01:58, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
