Date of death
[edit]I am struggling to find a reliable source on Gallimore's date of death. His Manchester United profile says 1994, while his Altrincham legends profile indicates 1971. It would be amazing if someone could find the true date. MarchOfTheGreyhounds (talk) 21:57, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
- In "The United Alphabet" by Garth Dykes (1994), there's no mention of him having died, which would mean if the 1994 date is accurate, it must have happened after that book was published. A 1994 death would mean he reached almost 100 years of age; that's exceptional but not unusual. – PeeJay 10:23, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
- I've changed the article to 1994, since that seems the most likely for now. I don't know if there's some kind of tag that should be added to indicate it's contentious. MarchOfTheGreyhounds (talk) 18:07, 8 July 2022 (UTC)
