Can you please check this edit and tell me what you think? I moved the critical reception, commercial performance, and live performance of the remix version to the Ariana Grande remix section because they didn't make sense to be at the original version's sections. Feel free to make any adjustments, I hope this edit was helpful.... I wanted to suggest this without editing myself but I didn't know how to explain all of this lol
Fine with me! Looks good!
I think we can add personnel sections for the two versions
Y I hope I put it in a good spot.
I think the three sentences in the article that have the word "acclaim" can be removed or paraphrased if not supported with a source explicitly saying that, as per WP:ACCLAIM and WP:PEACOCK
Y Changed them all to different versions of something along the lines of "received positive reviews from critics"
"Written by Charli XCX herself alongside Finn Keane and Jon Shave, it was produced by Charli XCX and Keane" - I think "She wrote and produced it with Finn Keane, while Jon Shave provided additional songwriting" or something would be a better option
Y changed to what was recommended
"the track is written" - "it is written" to avoid repetition
Y
"Both versions charted in various countries, and the song received a gold certification from Music Canada (MC)" - "Both versions charted in various countries; the original version received a gold certification from Music Canada (MC)"
Y
"during November 2024" - I think "in November 2024" reads better because she performed it just one time not several times during the month....
"Girl, So Confusing" was speculated by fans and critics to be about Marina Diamandis (left), Lorde (middle), and Rina Sawayama (right)" - I think this is just here by mistake lol
Y haha yeah, must have been from when I copied over the image template from that article, but I don’t know how it even got in paragraph text and how I didn’t catch it lol
"Charli XCX was an opening act" / "Charli XCX later criticised" / "Charli XCX expressed" - you can replace "Charli XCX" with "she" to avoid repetition as they will still be understandable
Y this is probably my weakest skill in writing lmao
"during November 2024" - the same suggestion in the lead
Y
"two minutes and 31 seconds long" - "2 minutes and 31 seconds long" or "two minutes and thirty-one seconds long" per MOS:NUMNOTES
Y changed to latter
"critical acclaim" - the same suggestion in the lead
Y
No need to italicize "juicy" even if PopMatters is italicizing it
Y was contemplating this when writing...
"Bennett compared the track to "Girl, So Confusing", also from Brat, ..." - "Bennett compared it to the fellow album track "Girl, So Confusing", ..."
Y
"on the UK Singles Chart. The track charted for two weeks" - "on the UK Singles Chart, charting for two weeks"
Y
"It peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. On the Billboard auxiliary Dance/Electronic Songs chart, it peaked at number seven" - this is confusing.... are these two different charts...?
Yes these are two different charts. One is radio airplay and the other is on demand streaming. I included both since Girl, So Confusing did also.
"The track peaked at number 21 on the ARIA Charts. In New Zealand, the song peaked at number 18" - "The track additionally peaked at number 18 in New Zealand and number 21 in Australia" (and add a source for New Zealand)
The remix version's commercial performance section reads kinda clunky and almost structured the same. I would try to paraphrase the section as possible
Y tried to smoothen it out a bit. Lemme know if that's good.
Billboard Hot 100 is overlinked
I'm not sure what you mean. It is only linked once in the remix section; the only mention of it in the article. Unless you mean in the chart itself, though those are usually still linked even if it's mentioned in the article.

Overall: Any potential copyvio turned up unlikely, nominator has fewer than 5 DYKN's so no QPQ required. The hook checks out in the ET Online source, and seems interesting as it could appeal to fanbases of all three artists. TheDoctorWho(talk)18:06, 7 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
