The lead states "originally settled by Polynesians between 300 and 800 AD" but the History section states "sometime before 500 BC". I personally do not know which is accurate but there should obviously be consistency. Jp2207 (talk) 00:47, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
hi, You make an excellent point! I just made the corrections. The correct dates are between 900 and 1100 AD --- i.e. 1500 years later than what was previously stated. That's a massive difference! Thanks for calling our attention on this. -- Womtelo (talk) 10:51, 19 February 2025 (UTC).[reply]
