"over 80 grandchildren and great-grandchildren"
[edit]One obituary describes her as "great-grandmother and great-grandmother of over 80 mokopuna,"[1] but in an article from 2018 she says "I have 26 grandchildren and 28 mokopuna tuarua."[2]
I don't know how the obituary is counting, but it's pretty credulity straining that a woman with 4 bio kids would have 80 grandchildren and great-grandchildren at the time of her death, especially when she herself listed a much lower (and more believable) total number just 7 years ago. - Given the differing sources I have removed the figure for now. —idiosyncritic 00:54, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
