Privy Council?
[edit]I have seen Milner Gibon referred to as the Rt. Hon. To me this indicates that he was appointed to the Privy Council. -- billinghurst (talk) 05:33, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- He was. According to the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography [1] and this 1907 encyclopedia [2] he became a member when he was appointed Deputy President of the Board of Trade. He would, in any case have to be a privy counsellor once he was in the cabinet, AFAIK.Lozleader (talk) 10:20, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
