Merge proposal
[edit]I support merging Method signature into this page (proposed in November 2008) because a method signature is a category of type signature and is not important enough to warrant its own page. If no one objects, I will merge them. dmyersturnbull ⇒ talk 02:49, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
- And what about Signature (computer science)? Alksentrs (talk) 18:18, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- Support merging Signature (computer science) into this page. Mainly because it is a terrible article. --Specrat (talk) 02:31, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, please, merge all. They seem to refer to the same topic. --Pnm (talk) 02:50, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
- I would be happy to see someone merge these articles and remove the hand-holding advice oriented towards computer science undergraduates. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.237.100.119 (talk) 23:18, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Function type?
[edit]Function type redirects to this article. What is function type? --Abdull (talk) 19:20, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Citation work is needed
[edit]The citations included each only cover a specific language, yet we somehow have 8 languages covered in this article. I believe we need a citation per language or a citation that covers multiple languages. Additionally, the source for C#, based on my reading, does not seem to support the article. The Java source is from Dotdash, and I know there are better sources for the Java language than that. I am planning on working on the sources at a later date.
