Falsehoods in the lemma's introduction

[edit]

In the past months, two evident falsehoods and one irrelevant detail have been added to this lemma's introduction. It now reads:

"When the allegation was made, Allen and Mia Farrow had been in a romantic relationship for 12 years. They had three children together: two adopted, Dylan and Moses, and one biological, Satchel (now known as Ronan Farrow). The sexual abuse is alleged to have taken place eight months after Farrow learned Allen and Soon-Yi Previn, whom Farrow adopted with her former husband André Previn, had begun a sexual relationship three years before she and Allen began to date. Previn was a 21-year-old first-year undergraduate when the sexual relationship began. The two evident falsehoods are as follows.

1. According to the custody trial reports, Woody Allen and Mia Farrow had definitely NOT been in 'a romantic relationship' from 1987 to 1992. Mia Farrow had withdrawn from such relationship during 1987, when pregnant of Ronan Farrow, a child she would later admit is 'possibly not Woody's son' (but Frank Sinatra's). It is undisputed that Woody and Mia were lovers no more post 1987.

2. The 'three years before she and Allen began to date' addition is false. According to the Appellate Court's decision, not challenged by anyone, the intimate or sexual relationship between Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn has started in December 1991, not 'three years' earlier.

The irrelevant fact is as follows.

3. A first-year student is always 'undergraduate'. There are no first-year students who are 'graduate'. The addition 'undergraduate' is superfluous, for whatever reason it was added, and can be removed.

I will await opposition to the above for two weeks. If no serious opposition, I will change the article accordingly. Mcouzijn (talk) 12:44, 20 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
