Template:Apple TV episode displays an external link to a television episode page from Apple TV. It is used exclusively for episodes. This template is intended for use in the external links section of an article.
Usage

Parameters
[edit]The required parameter is just the ID number (for backward compatibility, |id= can be used) and the template then uses the article title as the anchor text:
{{Apple TV episode|ID}}
To have the link text be other than the article name, use second parameter (for backward compatibility, |episode= can be used):
{{Apple TV episode|ID|EPISODE}}
Note that the examples include the * for a bulleted list since this should be used in an "External links" section.

[edit]- Copy and paste one of the options above into the article.
- Go to https://tv.apple.com, search for the show you want to find an episode ID for (say, Severance; you'll reach
https://tv.apple.com/search?term=severance). - Click on the correct "Severance" in the list:
- You then reach the page with URL looking like
https://tv.apple.com/us/show/severance/umc.cmc.1srk2goyh2q2zdxcx605w8vtx/(or other string) - Locate the episode from the show you are looking for.
- Once you find the episode, hover over the episode and click on the 3 dots (...). Then, hover/click on Share, then Copy Link. (say, for Woe's Hollow, you'll have
https://tv.apple.com/us/episode/woes-hollow/umc.cmc.39o64vs9jfwkrt6zr653oe0dx?showId=umc.cmc.1srk2goyh2q2zdxcx605w8vtxon your clipboard.) - Copy only the first umc.cmc string (here, umc.cmc.39o64vs9jfwkrt6zr653oe0dx), omitting everything else.
- Replace ID in the template code with the number
- For the first option above, you'll then have
