Usage
[edit]To create a new clean up by type category
- {{Clean-up type category|<Subject>|<Category type>}}
For example, articles with unclear notability, relating to products:
- {{Clean-up type category|Products|articles with topics of unclear notability}}
The general message should then be written for all "XXX articles with topics of unclear notability" categories at Template:Clean-up type category/messages/articles with topics of unclear notability if it doesn't already exist.
It should make clear which templates will invoke the category - in this case {{Notability}}.

[edit]Messages are passed the first parameter of the master template - the subject type.
