Pretty tables

When using tables in articles, consider using class="wikitable" at the top of the table, like so: {| class="wikitable". This puts a grey border around all the cells, gives heading cells a grey tint, and uses many other common formatting settings without having to spell them all out.

Usage

Parameters

• |border Adds a small border around main message. Default is blue, but other colors can be specified.
• |noheading Default: a heading is added. Suppress with |noheading=y
  • |headtext Default: "Welcome..."
• |cookies Adds an image of a plate of cookies to the right
• |contribs Off by default. Thanks the user for their contribs (linked)
  • |art If you want to say especially to this article
• |npov Off by default. If the user has violated NPOV, gently tell them why.
  • |article Article on which NPOV has been transgressed.
• |icons Make the first few links icons
• |anon Suggest (for anons) getting an account
• |1 An extra message to appear after your signature and before the post-script message
• |nosig Suppress automatic signature
