Template:WAFL FootyFacts displays a uniformly formatted external link to a West Australian Football League (WAFL) player's profile page on the WAFL FootyFacts website. It is intended for use in the external links section of an article.

Usage

It is preferable in most cases, to ensure that the Wikidata property exists, and use this template without any parameters.

Using Wikidata property: {{WAFL FootyFacts}}; {{WAFL FootyFacts | name= NAME }}; {{WAFL FootyFacts | alt= NAME }}

Unnamed parameters: {{WAFL FootyFacts | ID }}; {{WAFL FootyFacts | ID | NAME }}

Named parameters (id, name): {{WAFL FootyFacts | id= ID }}; {{WAFL FootyFacts | id= ID | name= NAME }}

Named parameters (ref, alt): {{WAFL FootyFacts | ref= ID }}; {{WAFL FootyFacts | ref= ID | alt= NAME }}

Parameters

The first parameter ("id" or "ref") is the exact unique identification number used in the URL at the WAFL FootyFacts website.

The second parameter ("name" or "alt") is an optional alternative parameter to specify a player's name. If not given it defaults to the Wikipedia article name, without any disambiguation such as (footballer). This parameter is only needed if you want to display text other than the article name, such as if it is used on team or season pages.
