Inclusion of attacks
[edit]I have argued for this on the article before, but there is little relation between the attacks and Ajax. I don't think it should be included here in a template. Dajasj (talk) 12:12, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Dajasj Of course it have, it happened after Ajax game and "Jew hunting" was coordinated around that game, so it have a lot to do with it... if there was no game there wouldn't be any pogrom alike situation, so it's very much connected to Ajax and game that it plays Bildete (talk) 15:04, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- But Ajax fans as far as we know did not participate in the attacks, nothing happened in relation to or during the match. It appears to be only related to the presence of Maccabi fans in the city. Dajasj (talk) 19:06, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- We don't know... but it's doesn't matter if they where a fans of Ajax. Is there a case only if the "socios" list of Ajax fans is the same with list of Muslim aggressors, or they have to be a season ticket holders, been at few games, have some merch or just to declare like a fans? It's absolutely doesn't matter. This "pogrom" happened after Ajax game, it was even planned before Ajax game, so it's connected to Ajax... doesn't matter they where a fans of Ajax, Fenerbahce or not a football fans at all it's sad event connected to Ajax Bildete (talk) 19:16, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Were they planned in relation to the game tho? It appears to be a consequence of incidents the day before, again unrelated to the match. Dajasj (talk) 19:24, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, Israelis come from Israel to Amsterdam for Ajax game and they been attacked, they come for Ajax game, so it's connected to Ajax, read the 2024 Amsterdam pogrom article, Ajax is in the first line, because again they came for Ajax game, so it's connected to Ajax, sad, but it is how it is Bildete (talk) 19:32, 18 November 2024 (UTC)

I have removed the article link to the attacks of last November. First, it´s only related to Ajax sideways. The attacks were not done by Ajax fans as such and had nothing to do with the club itself but was a response by youth to the situation in Gaza and provocations by opposing fans. There is much more to the attacks than first noted by the media. Second, it does not deserve a special mention. Ajax has a history of 125 years with many ups and downs, including WWII. There is no reason to create a link to the article because in the long history of the club, it is only a sidenote.
