Anise section

[edit]

Perhaps an anise section under distilled. Arak (distilled_beverage), Absinthe, pastis and Ouzo would all fit under it.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Ari x (talkcontribs) 23:29, November 17, 2006

"Fermented beverage" goes to Beer_fermenting#Fermenting/Brewing#Fermenting

[edit]

Whats up with that? Fermented beverage includes cider, wines etc so it's either need to link to somewhere else or Brewing#Fermenting has to become less beer-centric. The last alternative would be almost impossible.--90.129.53.7 (talk) 10:07, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Alcoholic drinks portal was recently deleted. I've removed the red link from the template. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 12:23, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Gin

[edit]

Why is gin under the "liquors by ingredient" section? That appears to be for the source of gin's sugars, e.g. grains AFAIK. It's not distilled from juniper, it's flavored by juniper. It should go in the "Liqueurs and infused distilled drinks by ingredients" section. 2601:147:4002:A670:CC68:6F2B:BF4E:D4DB (talk) 21:24, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
