This template must be followed by a complete and specific description of the request, that is, specify what text should be removed and a verbatim copy of the text that should replace it. "Please change X" is not acceptable and will be rejected; the request must be of the form "please change X to Y".
The edit may be made by any autoconfirmed user. Remember to change the |answered=no parameter to "yes" when the request has been accepted, rejected or on hold awaiting user input. This is so that inactive or completed requests don't needlessly fill up the edit requests category. You may also wish to use the {{ESp}} template in the response. To request that a page be protected or unprotected, make a protection request.
Add 'Angry Goy II' to some other section, it's currently in the 'Opposition and criticism' section, when it's very much not opposed... 78.144.160.58 (talk) 16:25, 4 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I mean this entirely constructively. It sucks. Overloaded, essentially zero inclusion criteria, it's a virtual waste bin to shoehorn any and every article with any purported ties to the nebulous "alt-right". I'm not conservative or sympathetic to the alt-right, but dumpsters like this give valid ammunition to conservative critics of Wikipedia. --Animalparty! (talk) 02:21, 5 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Animalparty I agree. At least something like Template:neo-Nazism, if deeply flawed, is almost all defining and all Nazi stuff. This is just an arbitrary assortment of actual Neo-Nazis and miscellaneous far-right people several of whom aren't even notable for that. The problem is really just the word "alt-right", which is at best loosely understood.... not very good for templates. PARAKANYAA (talk) 02:59, 5 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going through it for verifiability and removing any article that does not, at some point, say the words "alt-right" in reference to the article subject. We should have a higher bar, but this is an OK start. PARAKANYAA (talk) 22:56, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
