Proposal
[edit]I'd like to make some changes to this template, and I would like to request comments before I go on. Here are the proposed changes:
- Add optional halftime score, and overtime score when needed.
- Add an optional row with information about suspensions (2 minutes).
- Add an optional row with customizable information.
- Move the report link to the left of the date.
I have implemented this changes in my userspace: Template code and usage example.

- Nice to see some ideas around making this box more unique, since it is a (almost) directly adapted Footballbox. But anyhow I don't think we should make this box so much larger, since there aren't alot of handballeditors around to insert info/correct, and it could violate WP:NOT#STATS. I have taken your ideas into account, and this is what I think:
- Half-time score is okay, but should be centered under the actual score.
- Overtime score doesn't happen often, so it could be placed on the bottom.
- To note every player who gets a suspension would be overkill, but we could maybe note how many players, look at my proposal below
- The customizable row will be invisible ,so it doesn't hurt to have, but noting the match's MVP is to trivial I think... (What else would it be used for?)
- The report link, I think, fits perfectly under the scoreline, so why change it?
- Looked awkward where you putted it, but it could, in worst case, be placed below the date/time.
- (I also made a change to the referee-code, and remember the thousand-divider ;o)
- Half-time score is okay, but should be centered under the actual score.
My proposal:

- Nice! I have to say that I am in no way a template or table expert, and your version fits the idea I had initially. Specifically:
- Half-time
- Agreed. I don't like how the OT looks on the bottom, but it would be barely used anyway.
- Suspensions
- Agreed. I see you've already created a 2min template, good work.
- The customizable row will be invisible ,so it doesn't hurt to have, but noting the match's MVP is to trivial I think... (What else would it be used for?)
- I don't have anything special in mind. It could be removed.
- The report link, I think, fits perfectly under the scoreline, so why change it?
- OK
- (I also made a change to the referee-code, and remember the thousand-divider ;o)
- Sorry, I don't understand this. thousand-divider?
- Half-time

Color coding
[edit]I was wondering if it this template could get added a bg color coding which can be changeable and correlates to if the match is won/last/draw/in the future? Looking at the football box that already has this? E-Turner (talk) 14:22, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
Proposal
[edit]- Below is an actual match from qualification Euro 2026 group 3. The 2 referees are from different nations. The current template doesn't allow to specify both nations. Therefor I changed the template in a copy in my own user workspace.
- If only 1 nation is specified for
|refnat=
the result is as before. However if 2 nayions are specified, seperated by a comma (",") the result is as below. The 2 (referee) mations should be listed in the same order as the corresponding referees.
- If noone objects, I intend to replace the current template by the altered copy in my user workspace. Ofcourse better suggestions are welcome as well.

- On the same page in group 6, 3 matches are listed. KOS v NED, KOS v UKR and KOS v FRO. According to the EHF the first is played at the "Sport Hall 1 October" and the other two at the "Pallati i Rinise dhe Sportit". On the Wike page, all 3 matches are mentioned to be played at the "Palace of Youth and Sports". For the last 2 this is correct because it's basically a literal translation of "Pallati i Rinise dhe Sportit".
- However, for "Sport Hall 1 October" it's in my opynion incorrect to use the same name since it's a different hall.
- From what I understood, more cities in Kosovo have a "Pallati i Rinise dhe Sportit"/"Palace of Youth and Sports". They're even build according to the same design. "Sport Hall 1 October" however is specifically related to the university of Peistina. The hall was renamed to "Sport Hall 1 October" in merory/to honor the student protest which took place at the univercity on October 1, 1997 against the Serb oppression of the Albanese in Kosovo. On February 28, 1998 the war between the Serbs and Albanese in Kosovo started. Nowadays Kosovo is recognized as as independant cooutry by most nations. Serbia however still regards Kosovo as a Serbian province.
- Anyway, we need a different name for this hall on the Wiki page. Any suggestions? Maybe; UP "1 October" Sport Hall? UP stands for University Prisina. See [1]
- Also. it might be bette to use "Palace of Youth and Sports (Pristina)|Palace of Youth and Sports" since there are more towns in Ksovo with a venue with the same name.

- I like the way with the two nations for the referees. For the name, maybe the one you said or "1 October Hall". Kante4 (talk) 16:36, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
- I agree with you! I like the way with the two nations for refs. I don't know this arena, but I agree it's good to acknowledge it is a different arena, one way or the other! Chartah (talk) 17:09, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
