Colours of the flag broken when using the "Dark Mode" Gadget
[edit]When using the Dark mode gadget, the colours of the trans flag on the Transgender Sidebar template get messed up. Not really a major issue but worth noting. The blue and pink are duller, and the white becomes black. Mittzy (talk) 00:34, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
- I just checked using the official dark mode instead of a custom gadget and in the official one, everything looks fine, so I think it’s a bug in that gadget.
- You could try to use the official dark mode instead under Pteferences -> Appearsnce -> Color Raladic (talk) 14:45, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
Removing Mukhannath
[edit]While some Mukhannath may fall under the trans umbrella, the term is distinct and is much closer to genderqueer than transgender (see genderqueer). I'd support removing Mukhannath from this template on that basis. Feel free to ping me for any thoughts. Eelipe (talk) 05:16, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Eelipe: Mukhannath appears as a sub-item of Third gender; none of those sub-items neatly map onto the concept of "transgender", but are consistent with the broader definition of "transgender" used by many academic sources (see explanation at Transgender). That said, I wouldn't be opposed to changing the navbox' heading to something like "Transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming topics". -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 05:20, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- I see, that makes sense now. I'll change the title then for clarity. Eelipe (talk) 05:23, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
