Status of non-contiguous states and territories

[edit]

Is it just me, or is the status of PR, VI, AK, HI, etc., a little hard to figure out? The addition of 3 more numbers in the middle of these floating states and territories would help a lot, I think. -- Beland 02:08, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Do you like the new version better? --Russ Blau (talk) 19:27, 27 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Comment on the above thread

[edit]

I was a little confused when I read this thread and checked out the page history, because it seems as if no editing had occurred that would justify Russ Blau's comments. Then I checked out the image and its history, and all became clear: Russ Blau edited the image to add in numbers next to the floating states and territories.

Ah, thanks for that clarification; it's been a few years! Unfortunately, it looks like the numbers Russ added have disappeared again. -- Beland (talk) 00:24, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

(FTR, image history is here, though you may need to be an administrator to see it. -- Beland (talk) 00:25, 3 June 2020 (UTC))[reply]

United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces

[edit]

Despite its name, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces is not actually a United States court of appeals. (Ya gotta love our Congress!) So I'm fixing the template to remove it. --Russ Blau (talk) 19:11, 27 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Removed it from the template again. The United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces is an Article I tribunal, not a circuit court. Billyboy01 (talk) 20:03, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
