Thane Metro is an approved rapid transit system that will be built in the city of Thane, located in the state of Maharashtra, India.[1] Currently, only the geotechnical investigation for this project has started.[2] It will cost around ₹12,000 crores to construct.[1]
Proposed route
[edit]It will have one line and will be a circular metro with no defined start and end points. It will have 22 stations, with two being underground and the rest being elevated. It will have a depot located at Kasarvadavali.[3]
