My full name is Folke Hermansson Snickars. I was born and have lived most of my life in Sweden.

Back in the day, I did a master in electrotechnology at Chalmers University of Technology
In addition, I'm a long-time participant in the sport of foot orienteering, now as a Master orienteer (M80+,competing around my home in Trosa, Sweden. Also, I like jazz and latin music and is a member of WikiProjectJazz .
I love to contribute more to Wikipedia. I have knowledge about and I am interested in standardization, orienteering, and jazz music. A somewhat odd experience is that I during a period built a trimaran (Pinta) and sailed it a decade, and afterwards I acquired another trimaran (Dragonfly 25) which I enjoyed another 15 years.
Live in Sweden, but think globally, and act locally.
