I scanned this for Wikimedia from a John Neal children's story

My name is Dugan Murphy (he/him) and I am really into John Neal. I overhauled that article on two occasions 14 years apart and then saw it through to featured article status. I also created new articles and lists for Neal's bibliography, his articles in periodicals, his magazine The Yankee, his friend Tobias Watkins, the Delphian Club he co-founded with Watkins, his longest work of literary criticism American Writers, and his novels Seventy-Six, Rachel Dyer, Logan, and Brother Jonathan. The articles about Watkins and their club are good. The rest are featured articles and featured lists.

I sometimes overhaul existing articles on history topics, like Hoffman's Course of Legal Study, Green Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church (good), Benjamin Jackson (sailor) (featured), the African Civilization Society (good), and The Token and Atlantic Souvenir (good). I sometimes write new articles contemporary topics, like my favorite DIY boy band, Oshima Brothers (good); my favorite Swede, Fredy Clue (good); and my favorite inanimate product of Sweden, Bäckadräkten (featured).

Occasionally I'll pull an image from an old, public domain book or take a photo of a historic building and upload it to Wikimedia Commons so I can add it to improve a Wikipedia article. Because of my experience nominating articles, I sometimes participate in peer reviews and review nominations for good and featured status.

I also lead historical walking tours of Portland, Maine, as Portland by the Foot.

I always have a hard time finding these links when I need them, so I keep them here:
