Al Gore update sandbox

Four main environmental criticisms are regularly leveled at Gore: (1) he has an alleged conflict of interest as both an investor in green-technology companies and an advocate of taxpayer-funded green-technology subsidies,^[1] (2) he allegedly makes erroneous scientific claims,^[2]^[3] (3) he allegedly consumes excessive amounts of energy,^[4] and (4) he allegedly refuses to debate others on the subject of global warming.^[5]
