I'm Halgo123talk and here on Wikipedia, I am a regular editor hoping,in the near distant future to become a administrator.
What I do/Have done
On Wikipedia I generally help edit,merge and build up projects. I have worked on such projects as the Animal Kindom.I am currently working on British Television programmes and BBC Programs.
The community bulletin board has 2 sections that can be used by Wikipedians for announcements: "Events and projects" and "WikiProject notices". In general, keep it concise (under 2 lines), refrain from fancy formatting, and new entries should be placed at the top of their section.
Events and projects: In this section, only organized events, projects, and/or competitions should be listed. These are organized by how often they occur:
The Yearly section is for uncommon events, like events that only occur every year, once, or irregularly. The Monthly section is for events that occur each month, or are always ongoing.
WikiProject notices: In this section, any announcement, request for help or other notice from a WikiProject should be listed here.
Entries should be signed, and ordered from newest to oldest.
Entries are to be removed after a period of 6 months.

The Core Contest. April 15 - May 31, a contest to improve broad and important articles, together with others or alone. Sign-ups are open until the end of the competition.
Wikidata and Sister Projects. May 29 - June 1, an online event exploring the different ways Wikidata is connected and used in the other Wikimedia projects, including Wikipedia. We are currently accepting session proposals for the event program, you can submit them here, or ask any questions you may have!
Monthly or continuous events
Monthly contest, WikiProject Military history. The contest department of the Military history WikiProject aims to motivate increased quality in military history articles by offering a form of friendly competition for project members making improvements to them. The primary contest available is a simple rolling competition that awards points for improving articles. The contest runs from the first to last day of each month.
Guild of Copy Editors' editing blitz. The June 2025 editing blitz is a one-week-long effort by the Guild of Copy Editors to reduce its backlog. The themes are: articles on the GOCE Requests page from March to June 2025, and articles on the backlog from October 2023 and November 2023. It began on 15 June, 00:00 (UTC), and will end on 21 June, 23:59 (UTC).

Updates for editors
You can nominate your favorite tools for the sixth edition of the Coolest Tool Award. Nominations are anonymous and will be open until June 25. You can re-use the survey to nominate multiple tools.
Foundation staff and technical volunteers use Wikimedia APIs to build the tools, applications, features, and integrations that enhance user experiences. Over the coming years, the MediaWiki Interfaces team will be investing in Wikimedia web (HTTP) APIs to better serve technical volunteer needs and protect Wikimedia infrastructure from potential abuse.
