Hello, I go under the username Hmanck. I was born and raised in Lower Manhattan, in New York City. I am an alumnus of New York University, having studied Political Science (2014). I am aspiring to practise law in the future. During my undergraduate years, I have been a brother of the Alpha Phi Omega chapter at New York University (Beta Iota Chapter), in the position of Interchapter Relations (Co)-Chair for three semesters.
I belong to the rationalist faction in the railfanning community: I believe in reason and logic that support various fan-inspired schemes and ideas for the New York City Subway and other rapid transit networks, rather than simply out of pure transit-fan passion.
I identify myself a South Park Republican; I try to be as centrist and compromising as possible, although I do lean slightly towards the right. I also believe in voting based on policy, rather than ideological positions or party lines.
Many of my first edits revolved around the Fulton Center, due to the fact that I live in the area and can keep track of the progress. This also allowed me to edit some of the pages revolving around the World Trade Center.
As somewhat of a transit fan, I strayed around and came across the Mass Rapid Transit System (Chennai) page, and I thought there needs to be an extraordinary amount of work. Although the system is not of the calibre of the Hong Kong MTR or my native New York City Subway, I still think there is great potential to make the page/project great.
