Articles Wikipedia Could Use
[edit]- 5-ethynyl uridine (EU), which is used to detect global RNA transcription, needs an article.
- The FirstLook Test for lung cancer is a liquid biopsy test for lung cancer based on fragmentomics doesn't have an article. FirstLook Blood Test
- For that matter, fragmentomics (study of fragmentation profiles of cell free DNA) also needs an article.
- The pesticide Calantha marketed by GreenLight Biosciences for use in the Colorado Potato Bettle is the first pesticide based on RNA interference (RNAi) and promises a more precise way to target insects with less cross-species toxicity. Science named it as a runner up to their 2024 Breakthrough of the Year.
- Could maybe use an article summarizing different RNA decay pathways, some of which don't seem to have any articles. Possible source: doi:10.1016/j.tcb.2023.11.003
Protein Complexes Pages that Could use Some Love
[edit]- The MHC I Peptide Loading Complex has a beautiful new diagram over at PDB, which could be used to update this page. [1]
Gems
[edit]Fascinating things I found on wikipedia.
- The great encyclopedist Diderot rants about stubs. "Aguaxima, a plant growing in Brazil and on the islands of South America. This is all that we are told about it; and I would like to know for whom such descriptions are made...." Read his comments in all their magnificence, then check out the userpage of MtBotany, where I first saw it mentioned.
