I was just tagging unsourced articles and saw you'd proposed this for deleting. I think he's probably notable because he was in the Order of Bath. Can you please add reliable sources? Thanks in advance. Bearian (talk) 19:59, 10 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Article moves

[edit]

Article titles are governed by policy and should not be moved willy-nilly. If an article has been stable at a title for a long time, presume that the title is correct and that a title change would benefit from an RM discussion.

John Maddox Roberts had been stable for almost 20 years before you moved it. If an article is unambiguous at the base name, there is no need to add a parenthetical DAB.
John Maddox RobertsJohn Maddox Roberts (author)John Maddox Roberts

Despite John Maddox Roberts being promptly moved back, Unladylike was given a DAB a few days later:
UnladylikeUnladylike (hip-hop duo)Unladylike

Roman camp Bentumersiel could simply be moved to the base name:
Roman camp BentumersielBentumersiel (Roman military camp)Bentumersiel (Roman camp)Bentumersiel

I have left Draft:Doug Zylstra (American politician) in situ for you to deal with. Regards, Sam Sailor 15:54, 14 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yarvin as a Philospher

[edit]

Hey there, noticed your edit removing Curtis Yarvin from the Timeline of Western philosophers under the argument that he isn't a philosopher. Would like to discuss the matter further. Multiple independent sources seem to address him as such:

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/06/arts/yarvin-allen-debate-harvard.html

https://time.com/7269166/dark-enlightenment-history-essay/

But I'm not sure what criteria you're looking for. Thanks Aeviternity1 (talk) 02:19, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
