An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Arewa24, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kano.

NACCIMA moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to NACCIMA. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Mooonswimmer 18:02, 27 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

User page

[edit]

Hi, I noticed you had a GA topicon on your userpage for Oladipo Ogunlesi, but it doesn't look like you have ever edited the article before. ([1]) Was wondering what that was about? Sophisticatedevening🍷(talk) 00:31, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! I'm using a user page template on my user page and i guessed it triggered that. That's not generally intended. Cameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 00:33, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You should have tagged the page instead of moving it to draftspace. I clearly forgot to embed the references, but that alone doesn’t warrant a move out of mainspace—especially when the article content meets Wikipedia’s notability and formatting standards. In such cases, tagging with {{refimprove}} or leaving a note on the article's talk page (or even pinging me directly) would have been more appropriate and constructive.
I’ll be moving the page back to mainspace now. Thanks for your contributions. Cameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 22:47, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting permissions

[edit]

Hi there, I had a look back through your contributions and noticed that you've left similar messages for admins who have declined your requests for other permissions too, like here, and asked another admin for permissions kind of speculatively, here. For your own sake, please stop doing this. It's only ever going to convince an admin that they made the right decision. We've all seen editors try to go for too many new permissions too quickly and crash and burn - don't let it happen to you. Keep writing. -- asilvering (talk) 00:43, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Oh thank you @Asilvering. I just feel discouraged given that I have requested some perms and yet not even one has been granted. Even one! Yet I go to the request page and find editors with lower efforts given those same perms. But its all love, thanks once again. Request for Review – Chella Page Moved to Draft Space

[edit]

Dear @Cameremote

I am writing to respectfully contest the decision to move the article on Chella, a Nigerian musician, to draft space. Based on Wikipedia’s notability guidelines for musicians, Chella meets the threshold for a standalone article due to multiple significant achievements and reliable, independent coverage of his work.

Why Chella is Notable?

Chella is a Nigerian Afrobeats artist whose breakout single “My Darling” has demonstrated significant cultural and commercial impact, both locally and internationally. The song has achieved the following verifiable chart milestones:

  1. 1 on the Global Shazam Chart – an indicator of massive global listener interest and viral traction across multiple regions.
  2. 8 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart – one of the most recognized global charts tracking the success of Afrobeats music in the United States.
  3. 1 on the TurnTable Top 100 Nigeria Chart – Nigeria’s official music chart, highlighting Chella’s dominance in his home country’s music industry.

These accolades meet the notability requirements outlined in the Wikipedia:Notability (music) guidelines, particularly the criterion:

“Has had a single or album on any major national music chart.”

In addition to these chart performances, Chella has garnered significant media attention and public recognition that reflect his growing influence in the African and global music landscape.

I kindly request that the page be restored to article space or reconsidered for publication with the inclusion of reliable sources that verify the aforementioned achievements. Chella’s accomplishments are comparable to those of other artists with existing Wikipedia pages and reflect a clear level of notability and impact in the music industry.

Thank you for your time and consideration @Cameremote.102.88.108.135 (talk) 11:14, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia doesn't work on consideration. The subject clearly doesn't meet WP:GNG. I personally know the artist and i have been following him. Creating a Wikipedia entry for him just because of one hit song is not what we want and clearly fails WP:SIGCOV. He doesn't have that achievement yet that warrants a Wikipedia entry. Cameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 18:10, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Cameremote, if you personally know the artist, it's probably better for you to stay away from editing or draftifying the article. -- asilvering (talk) 18:20, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Oops! forgot to sign in initially Tarone Winstonn (talk) 11:51, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Tarone Winstonn, if you'd like to have the draft assessed, please press the blue "submit for review" button to add it to the AFC queue. There's a backlog drive on right now, so someone should get to it shortly. -- asilvering (talk) 18:22, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions to Senate Committee on Banking/Insurance. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it consists of machine-generated text and the web sources cited are all dead, making the content unverifiable. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Toadspike [Talk] 17:20, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Senate Committee on Health moved to draftspace

Please do not use AI to write articles

[edit]

Obliging your your request on my user talk page, I have looked at several of the articles you created. I have looked at four so far, and as you can see, I have moved them to draftspace, where you can improve them until they are ready for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The main reason is that they seem to have been written by an LLM, which means many of cited sources do not actually exist, and where they do exist, they do not verify the content you have cited them for. Please stop using AI to write articles. Read the sources yourself and write articles based on the information in the sources. If you continue doing this, you may end up blocked. Toadspike [Talk] 17:51, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Pinging @asilvering, who has previously discussed permission requests with you. Toadspike [Talk] 18:09, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry to say I had a feeling this would be the case. @Cameremote, do you understand what the issue is here, and why it's not a good idea to write articles with LLMs? -- asilvering (talk) 18:23, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Asilvering I do understand, I write all my articles by myself and for clarity I paste them to LLMs to help with Grammer and style formatting. This I cannot deny. That's why I put a tag on my articles whenever I publish to for other editors to help. But thanks for pointing that out. Cameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 18:26, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, please stop using LLMs for grammar and style - they're actually pretty bad at the latter, and they can cause very serious problems. But this doesn't address the issue of the sources not existing, or the sources not verifying the content. Just using an LLM to check grammar would not cause those problems. -- asilvering (talk) 18:31, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Draftified Many Articles

[edit]
  1. Senate Committee on Appropriation moved to Draft:Senate Committee on Appropriation at 3:14 pm, Today (UTC−4) (Reason/s: machine-generated)
  2. Senate Committee on Air Force moved to Draft:Senate Committee on Air Force at 3:15 pm, Today (UTC−4) (Reason/s: machine-generated)
  3. House Committee on Justice moved to Draft:House Committee on Justice at 3:16 pm, Today (UTC−4) (Reason/s: machine-generated)
  4. Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs moved to Draft:Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs at 3:16 pm, Today (UTC−4) (Reason/s: no sources)

I mistakenly patrolled these articles following your article House Committee on the Army which was still machine generated but correctly cited existing sources. The remaining of these articles link to non-existent pages. It was my mistake for trusting that you would continue to adhere to our standards following that. Scaledish! Talkish? Statish. 19:21, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
