[edit]Hey this is Stacey from East of Borneo—I think you registered this account at our edit-a-thon at the GRI? KCRW is working on a story about our Art + Feminism meetup at LACMA today (were you there?) and would like to talk to you about an edit you made to the Nancy Buchanan article. I am having a hard time connecting the username to the face, but I'm sure we already know each other? Please get in touch with me if you're up to for discussing it (through Wikipedia, facebook, email, or however is easiest). Thanks! StaceyEOB (talk) 03:32, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message! Could you drop me a line at stacey at eastofborneo dot org so I can forward your address to the producer? I don't know if he'll want to be in touch but might as well give him the info if you don't mind. (PS-Talk page messages can just be replied to like this, below the original. I added your talk page to my watchlist (using the little star at top) so I'd know when you replied.)StaceyEOB (talk) 15:52, 9 March 2015 (UTC)

My pleasure Mduvekot! I'm virtually attending the Wikipedia:Meetup/DC/African American Artists 2016 today, perhaps you'd like to join us?
Would you be interested in joining?
[edit]Hi Circa73!
Thought you might be interested in joining the edit-a-thon coming up in March?

welcome to Wikipedia:WikiProject African diaspora/Visual arts; up to now i have concentrated on African American artists, (for use in our editathons) but please fill in more. cheers Duckduckstop (talk) 17:01, 23 February 2016 (UTC) |
Thanks Duckduckstop! Contemporary art is my editing focus, I'm looking forward to working on Contemporary African American artist articles! Circa73 (talk) 18:08, 23 February 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Circa73. I was invited by you to attend the edithon at College of Arts in SF on Saturday, March 5, and I can make it. I would like to attend as a helper. Please advise. Give me a to-do list. Cheers! PS: I have a hard time not calling it the California College of Arts and Crafts, because that's the way it was named when I grew up around it. {{u|Checkingfax}} {Talk}

- Hi
{{u|Checkingfax}} {Talk}
. Glad you can make it! Our pre-event to-do list is pretty well taken care of...or did you mean an "articles to work on" to-do list? If that's the case there's a list on our event Wikipedia:Meetup/San Francisco/ArtandFeminism 2016 Meetup page, and you can also register there. And, don't worry about referring to us as California College of Arts and Crafts, that Crafts is deeply embedded in our history! Circa73 (talk) 20:08, 26 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Circa73. I would like to assist fellow editors onsite who ask for assistance. I would also like to help with any setup or takedown if that is needed. I want to be helpful. I will not be taking on any particular article myself, but will work on them in general. As I have not attended an edithon before I am hoping you can give me some chores. Ping me back. Cheers!

- Hi Checkingfax what our event most needs, are editors who want to create and improve Wikipedia articles covering topics of Art and Feminism and biographies of women artists. Editing those articles would be the most helpful thing you could do! All other event tasks have already been divided up amongst our team of event organizers.Circa73 (talk) 16:39, 2 March 2016 (UTC)

How does article rating work?
[edit]![]() | This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
The Bella Feldman article I contributed to has been rated as Draft-Class, although it is now an article. I left a message for the assessor, on the articles talk page, but have received no response...not sure what to do now Circa73 (talk) 22:43, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
- Give it time assessments are done by volunteers when they get time and desire to assess articles it may take weeks or months before someone gets to it. This assessment does not really mean much when it comes to the actual article. I have removed the draft assessment for the time being for you. McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 23:18, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
