Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Please pay attention to the description of this category, which says "This category is for issues relating to misandry. It must not include articles about individuals, groups or media that are allegedly misandrist."

Disambiguation link notification for December 28
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Index of masculism topics, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Marianism. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Cristina Soledad Sánchez Esquivel. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. As I informed you before, Category:Misandry is not to be applied to individuals. Schazjmd (talk) 14:40, 29 December 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Misogyny. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 20:22, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Biphobia, you may be blocked from editing. You added a new term to the article ("bimisandry"), and cited four sources. None of those sources use the term "bimisandry". Do not add unsupported claims to articles. Schazjmd (talk) 14:03, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
- Daniel, have you noticed that just about every edit you have made to gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them has been reverted? And because these articles are considered "contentious topics", poor editing on those topics is even more likely to result in an editing block than making mistakes on other topics.I suggest that you focus on editing non-contentious topics for awhile and learn how to edit correctly before attempting to make changes to these gender-related articles. You need to learn how to identify reliable sources and properly summarize those sources. You need to learn how categorization works on Wikipedia. (Also, categories go at the end of the page, they're not just dropped randomly in the article.)You need to learn that when you make an edit that is reverted by another editor, you should discuss it with them on that article's talk page, not wait a few weeks and then just make the same edit again. (After I reverted your edit to Biphobia, I saw in the history that you had made the same improper edit last month and been reverted.)Please take this seriously. Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Boys Don't Cry (Anitta song), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. — Fourthords | =Λ= | 09:18, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Biphobia. Schazjmd (talk) 14:03, 14 January 2025 (UTC)

. Valereee (talk) 12:32, 16 January 2025 (UTC)- Please respond to the discussion at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement#DanielVizago. No objection to any other admin unblocking this user once they've started communicating. Valereee (talk) 12:34, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
- I'm a little concerned that you haven't responded there yet, DV. I see that you sometimes go several days without editing, but if you are seeing this: ignoring this isn't going to make it go away. The partial block from article space requires an unblock request to be lifted, and any admin responding to an unblock request is going to ask why you didn't show up at Special:Permalink/1270423631#DanielVizago.
