Re: Userpage
[edit]Hi Daniel, I would be ecstatic if you could redo my userpage. Essentially, I would like it to include the current information, though if you have any other suggestions content-wise, I would be glad to hear them. In terms of design, your page looks great. Perhaps you would like to email me for further discussion? Cheers, TewfikTalk 19:45, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Great job and thanks for your help. There are two things I was hoping you could adjust: 1) Would it be possible to make the boxes default as expanded, and only collapsed by request? 2) The Babel and contribution boxes are somewhat misaligned in their cell - could you either align them or put them in two columns side-by-side? Many thanks, TewfikTalk 04:24, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hi,
- I just wanted you to know that I appreciate your continuing efforts. Thanks, TewfikTalk 05:19, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi again, Would it be possible to get rid of the collapsing boxes for now and just to arrange everything one level lower? Let me know - thanks for your help, TewfikTalk 04:26, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- I just realised that I neglected to respond earlier, but yes, that would also be fine. The issues are 1) having the cells align neatly, which they aren't now, and 2) having the boxes default open, or in the meantime I suppose losing the "hide" feature would also be fine (assuming that we could deal with #1 first). Many thanks for your efforts, and enjoy your camp. Cheers, TewfikTalk 09:02, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
I don't think I ever properly thanked you for all of your help, but I appreciate your effort. Happy editing, TewfikTalk 05:44, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Please be careful not to put user pages in the article namespace. I moved your page Tewfik/Userpage/Barnstars to User:Danieltiger45/Tewfik/Userpage/Barnstars and tagged to original for speedy deletion. — Swpb talk contribs 02:22, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for making a report about Country Life Back Issues (talk · contribs · block log) at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators generally only block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. In this case, if no warnings are issued there is a possibility that the editor does not know or understand Wikipedia's policy on spam. I've will investigate issue a warning and monitor if necessary. Re: User Page
[edit]Oh ho! You assume that "no flashy user page is in the offing" means that I don't want one. It's not so much that I don't want one as it is that I can't make one and am too lazy to learn the formatting. Oh, who am I kidding? Even if I knew the formatting, I have all the graphic art talent of a cabbage.this reference to a vegetable potentially stolen from your userpage So have at it! User page barnstar!
[edit]"Nonsensical" characters
[edit]Just so you know, the "question marks" you keep seeing in headings in the article Space Battleship Yamato are there because your computer doesn't have Japanese characters installed. However, I'm starting to agree that they shouldn't really be in headings, and would be better off in the infoboxes... Dave-ros 17:09, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

You have officially won
[edit]The Excellent Userpage Award | ||
You have officially won the Best User Page Contest, with a score of 95/100. Your page adequately describes who you are and what you do as a Wikipedian, has easy navigation, and is humourous. Congrats again! (→O - RLY?) 03:09, 23 July 2007 (UTC) |
Re:3RR
[edit]Yeah, I know. I've reported him to WP:AIV, and clearly told him that the page did not deserve an article. Instead of conversing with me, he continued to edit war. I'll accept the blame and the ban if necessary, but I did attempt to converse with him; an admin should note this. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 22:13, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

My Userpage Renovation
[edit]Thanks! for considering my request! Well i don't have any comprehensive idea about my user page( as i lack in creativity), but want it to look nice and be in proper format. So if you can do it i will be very thankful to you! --SMS Talk 19:11, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Your Userpage
[edit]Hey, I noticed your listing at CAT:IMPROVE. I was wondering if I could help you with the re-design or your page? If so, try and get back to me with your ideas on color, content, format, etc. Hopefully, i can help you out. Cheers, †Ðanieltiger45† Talk to me 18:37, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- Perhaps there was/has been a mistake? I don't believe I entered myself in the category. (Though I wouldn't mind attempting to figure out where the confusion lies.) - jc37 23:41, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Re: Your comments...
[edit]I really appreciated your comments about the use of capitals as far as linking. But alas, I am a total newbie when it comes to Wikipedia. I have some other questions concerning this system and was wondering if you could answer them. Since I'm an artist I can trade you in... well... art. Thanks for your time and I hope this isn't a bad way of correspondence.

I need graphics editing help
[edit]I noticed you are listed to help people in designing their user pages.
Well, I need help with a similar type of thing - graphics editing.
I'm preparing to coordinate this:
and for it I'm developing some awards. Each award will include an image, and that's where I need help...
I've got to have all the awards done by July 15th, and I don't even have the first one finished yet.
I'm looking for someone who knows how (or is interested in jumping in and learning how) to work on images in xcf format using GIMP, or Inkscape, etc. (Because I and others will need to be able to edit each image's layers after you are done with it).
If this sounds like something you are interested in helping with, please drop me a note.
By the way, both GIMP and Inkscape are free, making it easy to get started from scratch.
I look forward to your reply.

Your move of the name of an article to Controversies concerning the word "niggardly"
[edit]I appreciate your concern about the name of the article, but your move of the name was without consensus and violated an earlier consensus at Talk:Controversies concerning the word "niggardly"#Requested move. I assume you didn't realize the controversial history of the article, and that's why you moved the name without asking for consensus first. I think I and others in the previous consensus were pretty flexible about the name, but I don't like the new one, and I think we need a consensus on the name. If you like, please start a discussion on the talk page to lay out your reasons for the name you prefer, and we can discuss it there. Please also start the process of reverting your move, which apparently requires several steps described at Wikipedia:Requested moves. -- Noroton (talk) 17:59, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Userpage design
[edit]Hi, I know you probably get tons of requests like this, but please could you re-design my userpage? I'm happy enough eith the level of content (not much!) I've got on it, but your design, colour scheme and icons look brilliant. I you would like to, I will happily give a barnstar :) Acather96 (talk) 15:25, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
- Not being rude or anything, but could I have some kind of response :) Acather96 (talk) 08:20, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
