Thank you for another quality article, and good to see you back to such things! Happy new year 2025! We had, pictured on the Main page, on 14 January Tosca, in memory of her first appearance on stage OTD in 1900, and of principal author Brian Boulton, and today is Schubert's birthday. I added a pic to his article (and my story) and raised a question on the talk, regarding the lead image. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:22, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
Freak The Freak Out sales
[edit]Hey! You wrote to me recently, and I haven't had the chance to praise you for your contribution to the articles about the songs from VICTORiOUS! I think you do a good job, so it's nice to see how these articles are developed!
Today I came to ask specifically, because I noticed that in this edit, among many things you did in the article about Freak The Freak Out, you removed the documented higher sales number of the song, which was given by TV By The Numbers. I wanted to ask, is there a reason for this removal? Maybe I don't know something, but I've never found information TV By The Numbers could be an unreliable source, and since it's used in many articles to mainly report viewership of television episodes, it seems to me this could also be reliable information the song actually sold more than the certification requires as well.

- Danionek Thank you for the kind comments. Regarding the source, after some research, it seems that it is a indeed reliable. I just was not sure if it could be used or not. I have put it back into the article. Shoot for the Stars (talk) 05:56, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Haha, you're welcome! I didn't want to add this information myself earlier, because I wasn't very sure myself and I can openly admit maybe I don't have such an eye for judging whether it can be unreliable. You work hard on these articles, after all you nominated them recently for being good articles, so I also preferred to write to you 1st.
I'm also writing in a very similar topic, this time about Beggin' On Your Knees. Similar to the previous one, here you removed the information this song achieved 28,000 sales in the United States. I was never able to find information about it anywhere online (in any digital article), but this information was published in the printed issue of Billboard from April 16, 2011; scans from this issue of the magazine are available through World Radio History and Google Books (personally, it's faster for me to find from the former), links to both of these archives are available in the Billboard (magazine) article. On page 38 of this issue is the Billboard Hot 100 chart, where Beggin' On Your Knees debuted at #83, and in between it's noted this particular song has 28,000 sales. This appears to be the song's 1st week sales, but since this is any information given as to its sales, which is given by the very reliable Billboard, then I guess it could stay in the article too.
Danionek (talk) 17:20, 3 February 2025 (UTC)- Danionek I looked through the source and you're right again. Billboard is definitely a reliable source so I have added it back to the certification section on the article. Thank you for bringing these points to me. Your help on these articles has been appreciated. Shoot for the Stars (talk) 05:37, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
