Moved userpages

Hello. I notice that you have been tagging pages in your userspace under U1 when they were created outside of your userspace. Can you please use {{db-moved}} instead of {{U1}}? As Writ Keeper noted at User:DaniloDaysOfOurLives/Move1, pages that have previously been moved are only eligible if all previous titles were in the user's userspace, so U1 is inappropriate. To give a bit more context, the prohibition on U1 for pages that were created outside of the requestor's userspace is a safeguard against someone moving a random page that they didn't like into their userspace so that it could be deleted without discussion. Page swap/moves

Hi! Thanks for your work handling move requests, but ... could you kindly stop doing this? This is a purely selfish request – it takes considerably more time and effort to work out what you've done than it would have to perform the move. My thoughts: if someone lists a draft–>mainspace move at WP:RMTR, it's probably simplest to just ask them to tag the blocking redirect as WP:G6 (or indeed do so yourself), and then perform the move once it's been deleted. Soap character pages

Hi I noticed that a user has been changing soap character pages to have real world info before the storylines even though most pages have been the oppisite for many years now? should there of not been a consensus around this first as it is a major change  Thanks James4pk James4pk (talk) 16:08, 26 May 2025 (UTC)

That is simply not the case. Only EastEnders articles have the plot section first. All the other soaps have always followed a layout with the plot section after casting/development and before reception. Cassie Plummer

Hi Danilo, I hope you're well. I know this may be a big ask (feel free to decline) but at some point when you're free, can you please have a look at my new draft for Coronation Street's Cassie Plummer? It is currently unfinished but I'd like to know if there's anything I can improve on as my past two articles weren't amazing as I was quite new to editing on Wikipedia and I'd like to do a better job at this one. @EEfamilytrees Hey, thank you for your message. I have just looked at it and it is looking good so far, well done! Here are my suggestions for improving it:

1.) The casting and characterisation paragraph is extremely long and I would recommend cutting it into two or more paragraphs

2.) I would recommend removing Source #7 as it Daily Express is not considered reliable - though it is okay to use for reception if you would like to use it for that (Per WP:RSOPINION

3.) I would recommend adding a free images of Sweeney, Halsall and others and archiving the sources but that can be done later

4.) Right now it is very incomplete and missing the important reception section BUT I am aware that you have just finished so no worries about that :)

5.) There are a lot of quotes so far, so I would recommend paraphrasing some of them, especially to avoid potential copyright violations - this tool [1] shows the sources that have the most copied in the article so it could give you an idea of which quotes to trim or shorten.

2) That’s fine as it’s only used in one sentence.

3) I was already considering the pictures once I’ve wrote the content to build it around. And I didn’t think about the archiving so I’m glad you mentioned that.

4) Yeah, I’m going in chronological order. It’s the easiest way for me to find sources by searching for them one week or month at a time so I don’t miss anything important by mistake. Reception will be wrote soon, as well as Storylines. As I’m going in chronological order, I’ve got to the end of June 2023 in content so she’s just joined, not much reception available at that time. I can imagine a lot will be available throughout 2024 as that’s the only year she’s appeared in fully so far.

5) Thanks for the tool! One problem I’m aware I’ve got is I tend to quote a lot, but I’m happy to change that.

I do have one question though. What articles don’t require storyline sections? I’ve noticed most have them but there’s some like Daisy Midgeley and Claudette Hubbard that don’t.
