Re:Ram Kapoor
[edit]Thank you for your entries in my talk page. Some points I would raise in response:
- First, it is basic courtesy to at least explain why you would insist on certain formatting issues, instead of simply demanding for them to be implemented.
- Second, I see no evidence of any "admin approval". That said, I think you have failed to understand the way wikipedia fundamentally works. Admins do not have bigger say in approval any aspect of this project, since it is built purely on community consensus. Please read up on basic wikipedia policies first.
- Third, it is not in accordance to wikipedia's presentation guidelines to have a "quotation" or an "introduction" heading in an article in the way you insisted on presenting, and that is why it is being removed. Adding extra spaces between lines does not contribute anything aesthetically, which in this case only added lots of empty white space for no discernible reason. Last, all Indian-related articles are being worked towards a standardised presentation of dates, which is in the dd mmm yyyy format as per officially accepted formats by the Indian government. You do not insist on a particular format by your personal whims and fancies.
With these, therefore, I have to revert the edits again. I would strongly recommend that you discuss changes first before doing another revert, failing which I would not hesitate to initiate disciplinary action against any disruptive behavior.--Huaiwei (talk) 21:55, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment.
